Carmen Ho and Tass Barry Promoted to Publishing Lead

Aug 18, 2026

We’re delighted to announce that Carmen Ho and Natassja (“Tass”) Barry have both been promoted to the role of publishing lead at Page Two.

As publishing leads, Carmen and Tass will be the driving force behind our projects and the primary point of contact for our authors—an expanded role that builds on the strong foundation they built as project managers. They’ll now oversee the client experience from start to finish, so that every author has a dedicated in-house champion throughout their journey, and every book is guided with the highest level of care.

At Page Two, Tass has led nearly a hundred entrepreneurs and thought leaders through the publishing process, from the earliest editorial phases through to print and distribution. She brings a decade of strategic publishing experience across sales, marketing, and design, and is the former Western Canada account manager for House of Anansi Press and Groundwood Books. She holds a master’s degree in publishing and a bachelor’s degree in English literature and management.

“We are delighted for Tass to take on her new role as publishing lead at Page Two. Since joining the company as a project manager, Tass has offered her superb publishing insight and strategic thinking to every aspect of her work. We created this role to provide an even higher level of personalized care and focused publishing direction to the entire author journey. Tass’s deep knowledge of our services and processes and her expertise in leading authors from concept to published book make her an excellent fit,” says Kendra Ward, Page Two’s publishing director.

“As publishing lead, Tass brings her keen positioning ability, along with her considerable talent for guiding authors to realize their ambitions for their books. She will serve as a trusted guide, championing their vision at every stage of their work with us. We can’t wait for our authors to benefit from her strategic eye in this new capacity, and to see what she accomplishes.”

A publishing professional with over a decade of experience leading global content teams and shaping publishing strategy, Carmen delights in creating joy and ease for every author she partners with at Page Two. She is a versatile, PMP-certified leader with a knack for translating big-picture vision into actionable publishing plans. Her adaptive interpersonal skills bring clarity to complexity and transform powerful ideas into impactful books.

“Carmen’s publishing expertise, adept leadership, and strong initiative have been hallmarks of her work as a project manager with Page Two and with our authors. As she steps into the role of publishing lead, she will undoubtedly become an even more stellar ally throughout our authors’ publishing journeys. Carmen has a wonderful gift for rallying people around a shared vision that everyone moves toward. In creating an outstanding experience for authors while offering top-notch publishing advice and strategy, her dedication always shines through,” shared Kendra Ward. “We are excited to see her bring these strengths to bear at every turn, anticipating authors’ needs and closely partnering with them to make confident, well-informed decisions about their work, in support of their specific goals. We are so glad she’s moving into this newly created position, and we know our authors will be in exceptional hands.”

Congratulations, Tass and Carmen, on this well-deserved promotion!
