Larsen’s memoir is a mesmerizing story of an often-forgotten part of history – one that has slipped away in the author’s own life.”

Red Star Tattoo, a finalist for the Hilary Weston Writers’ Trust Prize for Nonfiction, was published by Random House Canada in January 2016.
