What are you working on that feels thrilling, important, and daunting?
That phrase comes from our author Michael Bungay Stanier’s book, How to Begin. Michael writes that a worthy goal “contains three different elements: Thrilling, Important, and Daunting. They’re the primary colors that allow you to paint the picture of your ambition. If you have all three of these in a goal or a project, you’ve got something intriguing on your hands.”
Yesterday, we hosted some of our Boston-area Page Two authors and friends for an afternoon of deep conversation and connection—exploring the thrilling, the important, and the daunting! We were also excited to welcome special guest Nick Morgan, an expert in communications, who shared his expertise on the speaking industry, with particular emphasis on the author’s perspective.
Thank you to our authors and friends who showed up with a generous spirit of learning and sharing knowledge: JR Lowry, Liane Davey, Lindsay Tjepkema, Elisabeth Swan, Nick Morgan, Jess Cooper Morgan, Jen Montfort, and Craig Easdon.
