Arno Kopecky’s The Oil Man and the Sea: Navigating the Northern Gateway (Douglas & McIntyre) has been shortlisted for the Governor General’s Literary Award 2014. Kopecky’s book, which recently won the 2014 Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction, is one of four finalists in the GG non-fiction category.
