Page Two is kicking off the final month of summer with a round of applause for our recent award-winning books and celebrated authors!
First on the list, Foreword Reviews has released their 2022 rundown of Foreword Indies award winners, recognizing exceptional books in over fifty unique categories and the independent publishers that ushered them into the world. This year, two Page Two titles have been singled out and we are so proud to recognize the hard work of our authors!
Gena Cox ‘s Leading Inclusion: Drive Change Your Employees Can See and Feel, an essential guide for business leaders interested in building an inclusive environment that honours their employees’ unique skill sets, is the 2022 Gold Winner in the Business & Economics category! A second round of applause goes out to A.J. Harper for her book, Write a Must Read: Craft a Book That Changes Lives — Including Your Own, an invaluable resource for any writer interested in publishing a nonfiction book that their readers will remember. Continuing on with the celebrations, the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) has generously recognized four Page Two titles from last year’s list in their breakdown of the 2023 Benjamin Franklin Award program winners! Write a Must Read: Craft a Book That Changes Lives — Including Your Own by A.J. Harper has won a Gold Benjamin Franklin Award in the Business & Career category as well as a Silver Benjamin Franklin Award in the Best New Voice: Nonfiction category!
The Gold Benjamin Franklin Award in the Health & Fitness category goes to Hear and Beyond: Live Skillfully with Hearing Loss by Shari Eberts and Gael Hannan, a deeply impactful book that looks at hearing loss through a holistic lens, offering insights on how to improve communication as a whole for those dealing with hearing loss in any capacity.
Rob Volpe’s Tell Me More About That: Solving the Empathy Crisis One Conversation at a Time has won the Silver Benjamin Franklin Award in the Self-Help category for its excellent breakdown of the current widespread empathy crisis with knowledgeable insights on how to strengthen individual empathy for the good of all personal and professional relationships.
Lastly, we want to recognize Tiny Humans, Big Lessons: How the NICU Taught Me to Live with Energy, Intention, and Purpose by Sue Ludwig, a remarkably moving examination of how even the smallest forms of life can teach us about our own. Sue’s book has also won the Silver Benjamin Franklin Award in the Self-Help category! We want to send out a massive congratulations to our celebrated Page Two authors and their equally insightful and emotionally affecting books from 2022!
