THE ROLE
Page Two is seeking a full-time Sales & Marketing Administrator to provide administrative support to our sales and marketing teams. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a love for books. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a focus on customer service and creativity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly detail-oriented and is eager to learn more about book sales, marketing, and publishing.
We accommodate hybrid at-home and in-office work. Regular in-person work is required at either Page Two’s office in Vancouver or a shared co-working space in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be based either in Vancouver, working from the office several times a week, or in the Greater Toronto Area, working in person with our sales team on a regular basis.
Key responsibilities:
The duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Processing direct sales, including overseeing shipments, issuing invoices, and monitoring the shipments and payments to ensure timely completion
- Providing administrative support to our Direct distribution stream program, including offering client service support and assisting with technical issues
- Working with our bulk sales program to generate sell sheets and create focused marketing and sales strategy initiatives
- Preparing and managing sales and marketing materials for sales presentations, including maintaining online catalog collections and creating presentation materials (such as PowerPoint presentations and book lists)
- Overseeing audiobook sales, including tracking sales data, ensuring the accuracy of metadata, preparing tipsheets, and liaising with our distributors and partners
- Coordinating promotional and informational assets (such as catalogs, headshots, videos, reading material, covers, press releases, etc.) for our sales and distribution partners
- Overseeing translations projects with our translation partner agency, including coordinating and tracking requests, agreements, offers, and marketing updates
- Providing administrative support to the publicist, including assistance with duties such as research assistance, file and database maintenance, and submissions for book awards and reviews
- Assisting the marketing team to schedule and distribute digital communications, including newsletters, e-blasts, videos, blog posts, and web content
- Performing general administrative duties for the sales department and director, including scheduling meetings, preparing agenda minutes, and other projects as needed.
This position reports to the Sales Director.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Preferred skills/qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in sales and marketing
- Publishing industry experience considered an asset
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, and publishing
- Superb analytical and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated, hands-on, enthusiastic individual with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- High level of attention in a deadline-driven environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong computer skills, including the following:

- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
- Proficiency working with digital workflows and content management systems, including Google Workspace, Smartsheet (or other work-management applications), and BiblioSuite
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro

- Experience with BookNet SalesData, BNC CataList, and Circana BookScan an asset
- Work well in a hybrid in-person and remote team environment
WHAT WE OFFER
Compensation based on a $48,000-to-$55,000 annual salary, paid biweekly.

Page Two is seeking a candidate in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia or the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario. Our head office is in Vancouver, and we have a co-working membership at a central location in downtown Toronto. We offer the possibility of hybrid at-home and in-office work. Regular in-person work is required at either location.
