We are thrilled to announce that Leslie Bootle will be leading Page Two’s sales and marketing department as our new Sales & Marketing Director.
Since joining Page Two earlier this year as our Author Partnerships and Development Lead, Leslie has been leading the development and implementation of expanded sales and marketing opportunities for Page Two authors, creating community building opportunities among them, and planning strategic business development campaigns.
Leslie previously served as Marketing Director at Orca Book Publishers and interim Executive Director of the Association of Book Publishers of BC (Books BC). She is that rare person with equal depth in book marketing and in book sales. She is an industry veteran who also values innovation and engaging in new and creative ways to sell and promote books.
Leslie holds a Master of Publishing degree from Simon Fraser University and has served in various leadership roles within the publishing community, including co-chair of national committees and previous president of the Western Book Reps Association.
With Leslie at the helm of our sales and marketing department, we couldn’t be more excited about this new direction of designing a more collaborative and powerful approach to how we bring our authors’ books to the world and maximizing success.
