Page Two

At Page Two, we’re different from other publishers. We offer a faster path to market, more creative control, and deep engagement in your launch strategy. Our co-founders, Jesse Finkelstein and Trena White, have a combined forty years of experience in the industry. They launched Page Two in 2013 to help thought leaders, subject matter experts, and organizations publish leading non-fiction books. They are past finalists for the RBC Women Entrepreneurs’ Award, recognized for building a thriving, innovative company. Our core team of talented professionals, and carefully vetted freelance associates, have worked for some of the world’s largest and most prestigious publishers. Combined, we’ve produced thousands of books in our careers, publishing international bestsellers and winning numerous awards.

Jesse Finkelstein

Co-Chief Executive Officer

Jesse Finkelstein has spent her entire career in books. Prior to co-founding Page Two, Jesse held several management roles at publishing houses, including that of COO of D&M Publishers and associate publisher at Raincoast Books. She holds a master’s degree in publishing from Simon Fraser University and is adjunct professor in publishing at the university. She serves on the board of Creative BC, an organization devoted to supporting the growth of cultural industries.MORE

Trena White

Co-Chief Executive Officer

Page Two co-founder Trena White has worked in book publishing for over fifteen years, in various senior roles. She is the former publisher of Douglas & McIntyre and Greystone Books, where she oversaw a list of sixty new books a year, and a non-fiction editor at McClelland & Stewart, now an imprint of Penguin Random House. She holds a master’s degree in publishing from Simon Fraser University and is adjunct professor in publishing at the university.MORE

Gabrielle Narsted

Chief Operating Officer

Gabrielle (“Gabi”) holds a master’s degree in publishing, and a bachelor in English literature. Gabi has applied her strategic thinking on production, printing, and logistics to diverse projects—from a community-building book for the Mastercard Foundation, to a children’s book by a Google programmer, and bestselling business books by Phil M. Jones.MORE

Yaseen Al-Salam

Chief Financial Officer

Yaseen Al-Salam brings over twenty years of finance and tax experience to Page Two. He has worked in both start-up and mature, multi-national corporations. Before that, Yaseen worked in the arts administration sector, specifically supporting the book and magazine publishing industries. He holds a bachelor degree in History and Western Society and Culture from Concordia University in Montreal.MORE

Peter Cocking

Creative Director

Considered one of North America’s finest publication designers, Peter has received over fifty awards for his work, and has lectured on design and typography throughout Canada and the United States. His design experience is wide, ranging from packaging to branding—including hundreds of books. He is also an award-winning professor of design at Emily Carr University.MORE

Kendra Ward

Editorial Director

Kendra Ward is an editor of nationally bestselling, award-winning books. She has been editing for almost twenty years, previously in-house at Penguin Random House and the Art Canada Institute. Her education includes pastoral studies at the University of Toronto and a degree in English literature from the University of British Columbia.MORE

Meghan O’Neill

Marketing Director

Meghan O’Neill brings extensive experience in media and communications to her role as marketing director. Currently pursuing a PhD in publishing, Meghan also holds degrees in publishing and writing, plus a bachelor of international relations from the University of British Columbia.MORE

Rony Ganon

Production Director

Rony holds degrees in publishing and advanced project management, plus a bachelor in political science and philosophy from the University of British Columbia. She brings her extensive project management experience to her work at Page Two, where she has managed a wide array of projects—from richly illustrated lifestyle books to #1 bestselling business books.MORE

Felicia Quon

Sales Director

Felicia brings over two decades of publishing experience to her role as Sales Director. An expert in the realm of sales, distribution, and marketing, she has previously held leadership positions at Simon & Schuster Canada and HarperCollins Canada. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Felicia has lectured at the Creative Book Publishing program at The Humber School of Creative and Performing Arts, and at Simon Fraser University’s Master of Publishing Program. She sits on the Board of Directors at The Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD).MORE

Caela Moffet

Business Development Director

Caela Moffet has built her 15 year career in publishing with a strong focus on author services and client experience, striving to be the bridge between publisher, author and audience. Prior to Page Two she worked in academic publishing at Cambridge University Press, and custom content for celebrity brands at TC Media. In her five years with Page Two Caela has worked across departments to help develop what makes Page Two unique: innovative publishing strategy tailored to each book and author. Caela holds a master’s degree in communications and a BA in English literature.MORE

Adrineh Der-Boghossian

Project Manager and editorial associate

Adrineh expertly manages projects for Page Two’s clients. She brings a range of experience to her role at Page Two, having held communications, writing, and editing roles across the nonprofit, media, and education sectors in Canada and abroad. Adrineh holds certificates in editing and publishing as well as a master’s degree in communications. MORE

Carmen Ho

Project Manager

Carmen has over 10 years of experience leading project teams and driving success for authors. Having held senior editorial and management positions with publishers across Asia and North America, she brings diverse and multicultural perspectives to Page Two. She holds a business degree, an MFA in creative writing, and a certificate in publishing. She is also a certified Project Management Professional.MORE

Natassja Barry

Project Manager

Natassja (“Tass”) brings a range of experience in sales, marketing and design to Page Two. She has managed bookseller accounts across Western Canada and has led multiple cross-organizational teams, including the Western Book Reps Association, in planning successful digital and in-person events and marketing projects. She holds a master’s degree in publishing, and a bachelor in English literature and management. MORE

Beate Schwirtlich

Project Manager

Beate holds bachelor degrees in fine art and journalism, laying the foundation for a career in book publishing. For five years, she worked as a typesetter, first at Wilfrid Laurier University Press and then Penguin Random House Canada. Most recently she managed publication projects for the Higher Education Division of the University of Toronto Press. Over the course of ten years there, she shepherded textbook manuscripts through the editorial, production, and printing processes. Beate is also the founder of Workhorse Editorial and Production.MORE

Taysia Louie

Designer

Taysia Louie is a graphic designer and a type enthusiast who has experience in branding and publication design. She holds a bachelor of communication design from Emily Carr University, where she received the John C. Kerr Chancellor’s Award for Excellence.MORE

Jennifer Lum

Designer

Jennifer Lum is an award-winning designer with extensive experience in publication design. Before joining Page Two, she was a senior designer at Penguin Random House Canada, where she worked on a range of international bestselling and award-winning titles. She has lectured at Sheridan College, the Ontario College of Art and Design, and the University of Toronto. MORE

Fiona Lee

Designer

Fiona Lee is a designer with expertise in publication and information design. Before joining Page Two, she worked with a range of organizations, from a health-design studio to a non-profit agency. She holds a bachelor of communication design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.MORE

Cameron McKague

Designer

Cameron is an award-winning designer with considerable experience in editorial and branding design. Before joining Page Two, Cameron was Senior Designer at several acclaimed studios including Toronto’s Underline Studio and Vancouver’s Hulse and Durrell where he worked on projects for clients including Google; the International Olympic Committee; Polaris Music Prize; the University of Toronto; Oakville Galleries; Prefix Institute of Contemporary Art and Inuit Art Quarterly. He holds a bachelor of communication design from Emily Carr University.MORE

Leonni Antono

Digital Marketer

Leonni brings strong copywriting, marketing, and graphic design experience to her role as digital marketer, crafting visual and written content and managing advertising campaigns for Page Two’s clients. She holds a BA in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and has previously held marketing and design positions at the Vancouver International Film Festival Society and Building Bloq Project.MORE

Tessa Eisenberg

Marketing and Communications Specialist

Tessa is a writer, a creative strategist, and a connector. With fifteen years of experience working in sales, customer service, event planning, not-for-profit management and book publishing, Tessa has made a career out of marketing ideas to remember, events to look out for, products to elevate experience, and people to follow. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing from Dalhousie University and a publishing certificate from Humber College.MORE

Viktoria Skaper

Publicist

Viktoria brings her unique expertise of influencer marketing to Page Two, having worked on over three hundred campaigns and achieving successful product placements, including Jane Goodall’s Birthday Fundraiser, The Marilyn Denis Show, and DownieLive Travels by Train (OMNI TV). She has worked in public relations and media communications for the last five years and takes a results-driven approach to her media efforts. Viktoria holds both a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree (with distinction) in English Literature. MORE

Madelaine Manson

Sales Associate

Madelaine brings a range of publishing and sales experience to Page Two, including sales and business development at Penguin Random House Canada, market development at DocuSign, and ad sales in the magazine industry. She holds a bachelor’s in sociology from Carleton University and a publishing certificate from Centennial College.MORE

Sarra Francis

Sales Administrator

Sarra coordinates Page Two’s bulk sales and translation rights programs and manages our data and sales and inventory needs. Before joining our team, Sarra was agency assistant at Cooke McDermid; digital and online sales coordinator with Little, Brown and Orion; and sales assistant at Profile Books. Sarra has a BMus from Goldmsiths, University of London.MORE

Rachel Seigel

Sales Administrator

Rachel brings over 20 years of combined book industry experience in retail, educational and library wholesale. Most recently, Rachel was the team lead for Selection Services at Library Services Centre, where she handled print book purchasing for over 30 libraries in juvenile, young adult, and adult fiction/non-fiction, as well as inventory and seasonal catalogue production. Rachel holds a degree in English literature from York University.MORE

Jay Korporal

Office Administrator

Jay brings a background of office management and event coordination to her role as Office Administrator. Before joining the team at Page Two, Jay worked for five years in a curatorial and administrative role at the West Vancouver Art Museum, taking on a variety of projects and tasks related to exhibitions, publications, and events. She has a bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of British Columbia and an associate’s certificate in Graphic Design from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.MORE

Emily Schultz

Editor

Emily Schultz is an editor and best-selling novelist with twenty years of experience. She has edited over 200 books in a wide range of genres. Books she’s worked on won or were nominated for the Ippys, the Edgars, and the Giller Prize. Emily lives in Brooklyn.MORE

James Harbeck

Editor

James Harbeck has more than twenty years of editorial experience, working with many different writers on a wide range of subjects. He’s also a well-known, award-winning writer and presenter on language and editing. James has an MA in linguistics and a PhD in theatre history.MORE

Scott Steedman

Editor

Scott Steedman is an award-winning editor and writer with thirty years of experience in Canada, France, and the UK. He has worked with clients as varied as the British Museum, Larousse encyclopedias, the Haida Nation, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is also a Lecturer in the Publishing program at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver.MORE

Alison Strobel

Proofreader

Alison is a passionate proofreader who has worked on books for over thirty-five publishers. She has personally proofread more than 150 Page Two titles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature (Hons) from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Publishing from Simon Fraser University.MORE

Samantha is President of the Transatlantic Agency. She has extensive experience selling authors in North America for publication and TV/film representation. Samantha represents a diverse and vibrant client list of novelists, memoirists, investigative journalists, graphic novelists, cookbook authors and thought leaders.
