  • Providing strategic guidance and coaching to Page Two clients on aspects of their publishing projects and publishing strategy

  • Development and management of detailed schedules and deadlines for client projects

  • Coordination of all third-party service providers, in-house staff work allocation, and assets for each assigned project

  • Working closely with other members of our team, including editorial, design, marketing, sales, and accounting, to ensure everyone is closely aligned with the overall project goals and publishing strategy

  • Working closely with book printers, soliciting and reviewing quotes, and overseeing quality assurance for book production

  • Liaising with accounting to help manage project costs and client invoicing

  • Carrying responsibility for overlapping deadlines and coordinating schedules of many staff members

  • Project-based research

  • Planning and running client meetings, and drafting agendas for meetings

  • Representing Page Two in client meetings

Candidates should have at least 2 years of project management or management experience, ideally in publishing or book production, or hold a certification in publishing or project management with some work experience (preferably in publishing). Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have strong team-building, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and will have some experience working with clients, editors, designers, printers, or marketing and sales teams. Proficiency working in SmartSheet or other project management software is a plus.

This contract position will start March 1, 2021, and end March 31, 2022. The contract will start part-time (20 hours/week) for one month for training, and begin full-time (40 hours/week) on April 1, 2021.
